Thank you to everyone who stopped to visit us at Hobby Lobby for the 2024 Mayoral Challenge Salvation Army Bell Ringing Day! We love to be involved and helping our community ❤️❤️
With the winter weather coming, here are some things to remember:
- Limb and leaf pick up is done for the season
- All bathrooms in parks are closed except for those at the HS diamonds (4/5)
- Please remember when it snows to keep your cars, equipment, etc. off the roads. Our snow crew must be able to get through safely in order to complete your neighborhood!
Mayor Peck and friends will ring the Salvation Army bell from 10:00 am-5:00 pm this Saturday (December 14) at Hobby Lobby! If you can't make it, here is a link to donate virtually!

With the South Lot closed, parking will be a bit more difficult- but it is still there! You can see on the map:
*Guest Parking will be at the North Lot and up and down Forsyth Parkway on the west side.
*Vendor Parking ONLY will be on the south side field by the event.
*Handicapped Parking with sticker will be at the main gate.
We will have a golf cart going from North Lot to the event to help those who need assistance!

Do you know what day it is? It is National Christmas Lights Day! What's a better time to remind you to stop by Friday Dec 6 at 6:00 as we put a new spin on our old tradition of lighting the Forsyth Tree. We will do this and then head on down to Rudolph's Village Market! Join us to see all the beauty!

Sometime around October 15 someone lost something of significant value at the Forsyth Park. Please help us find who this belongs to!
Because of the value, we will not say what it is, but if you have lost something meaningful to you please call Village Hall 217-877-9445. You will need to give a detailed description of the item, preferably a picture.
The Village of Forsyth will be closed on Monday, 11-11-24. This also includes Public Works, so no leaf/limb pick up.
We are crossing our fingers that the weather will warm up a bit- and we will see you tonight!
