Today, the Village of Forsyth is proud to officially share plans for the renovation of the Forsyth Veterans Memorial — a meaningful project dedicated to honoring all who have served and protected our nation.

The updated memorial will preserve the legacy of our current memorial while creating an enhanced space for reflection, remembrance, ceremonies, and future generations. Planned improvements include:

Military branch monuments

Enhanced walkways and gathering areas

Restored flagpoles

Landscaping improvements

Relocated engraved pavers

Additional seating and memorial features

Below is an updated concept rendering showing the proposed layout and improvements planned for the memorial area.

There are several ways our community can be part of this lasting tribute:

Purchase a commemorative brick

Become a project sponsor

Make a donation to support the memorial renovation

We will also have a Veterans Memorial information table at Forsyth Fest where residents can:

• Learn more about the project

• View updated concept plans

• Purchase commemorative bricks

• Make donations

• Ask questions about sponsorship opportunities

Brick orders are due by July 1.
